What is this course about?

CSU's broad based Management programs are designed for practising and potential managers who wish to upgrade their professional qualifications.

These courses provide a broad, comprehensive and forward-looking orientation that equips students to research, monitor, analyse and make effective decisions in relation to the complex issues confronting the modern manager at both strategic and operational levels.

Students are provided with the opportunity to develop conceptual tools, knowledge and skills in relevant disciplinary areas, and to understand how these can be applied to practical management situations. Students are also equipped to evaluate the effectiveness of their managerial assumptions, attitudes, values and behavioural styles, and design a personal professional development program that provides them with a forward and pro-active outlook and the interpersonal skills needed to manage successfully.

AGMC stream

The AGMC stream is for students completing the course as part of the Australian Graduate Management Consortium. The Consortium is a partnership between CSU and various TAFE sites across Australia. Students undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Management (Professional Practice) and the Graduate Diploma of Management (Professional Practice) complete their studies through these TAFE sites. For more information please liaise with the Course Coordinator or contact the AGMC.
