What is this course about?

CSU's Graduate Diploma of Health Services Management program is designed for practising health sector managers or aspiring health services managers who want to gain the skills needed to function effectively as managers in the broad health services context.

The Graduate Diploma of Health Services Management is suitable for health managers with backgrounds in medicine, nursing, allied health, paramedical science, commerce, accounting or general business administration. A key feature of the course is its capacity to meet the diverse needs of students from different professional and occupational groups, and backgrounds of employment.

To be eligible for this course, applicants must have a degree in a health-related or business-related area or a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management.

The Graduate Diploma aims to equip students with the skills, 'know how' and "know why" needed to function effectively as managers in the broad health services context.

Course structure

The Graduate Certicate course consists of four core subjects (32 points), while the Graduate Diploma consists of eight core subjects (64 points) and the Masters course (96 points) consists of eight subjects and four restricted electives (32 points).
