CB81 - Bachelor of Public Health (Specialisation) (Honours)

This one-year full-time degree is an opportunity for the student to carry out an independent research project in Public Health. It will equip them with skills in planning, experimentation, interpretation and presentation of results. The professional skills acquired in their primary degree will be enhanced by advanced skills in literature retrieval, data analysis, statistical methods, ethical behaviour and research methodology. Graduates will be eligible to apply to continue with postgraduate study (e.g. Masters or Ph.D.).

Program Aims

This degree enhances the professional skills which students acquired in their primary degree by allowing students to access more rigorously the links between the theoretical bases and practice.  The degree also develops skills in problem analysis and research which can be applied at the professional level.
